 Maria Elena Bello, born April 18, 1967 in America is an actress and producer as well as writer and director. Permanent Midnight (1998) and Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2006), The Cooler (2004), A History of Violence (2006), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008). Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013). Lights Out (2016). Bello was a star in the world of television as Dr. Anna Del Amico in the medical drama ER (1997-1998), along with other prominent roles, like Michelle McBride in the first season (2016) of Goliath as well as Jacqueline Sloane as a Special Agent on NCIS from 2017-2021. Bello was born on 18 April, 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy, a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a working-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. In the field of political science, Bello majored in political science at Villanova University. Bello continued to train in acting by taking part in various New York theatre productions. Bello and Dan McDermott have a son, Jackson. In November 2013 Bello wrote about her first-partner Clare Munn's same-sex relationship. She published a book entitled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the labels we give ourselves (Dey Street Books, April 28 in 2015).
