Lara Logan
Lara Logan (born 29 March 1971) is an South African television and radio journalist and war correspondent. She was a CBS News reporter from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan have called her factually incorrect and politcally biased coverage of the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest error I've made in my entire decade of watching." She joined Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media organization) in the year 2019. [4] She joined Fox Nation in January 2020. Fox News runs the subscription streaming service. She claimed that she was "dumped by the network" in March 2022. Logan worked as a journalist for the Sunday Tribune of Durban during her studies (1988-1989) which was followed by the Daily News of the city (1990-1992). In 1992, she was a senior producer for Reuters Television Africa. After four years, she moved to freelance journalism. Assignments included an editor/reporter/reporter for ITN, Fox/SKY News in London, CBS News, ABC News in London, NBC, NBC and European Broadcasting Union. Reporting on events such as the bombings in 1998 of the United States Embassy in Nairobi and Tanzania as well as the conflict within Northern Ireland and the Kosovo conflict, she worked for CNN.
