Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born March 4, 1954. She is a comedian, actress, and writer. O'Hara is the proud recipient of numerous distinctions, including the Genie Award. In 2018, O'Hara was made an Officer of Canada. In 2020 she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara made her debut as an actor in 1974 when she was part of The Second City, an Improv comedy group located in Toronto. Alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd as co-stars, she was in the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). The next year, O'Hara and Candy began work in the sketch comedy program Second City Television (1976-1984), where she drew the attention of critics for both her performance as a comedic actress and as a writer, securing an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was part of the brand-new Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board included Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
